Just a little about us ...

Pecco's established in 1971, is a family owned and operated business located in Ottawa, the Nations Capital.

Pecco's originally specialized in Bicycles, offering a complete range of bikes, parts, accessories, clothing and repair services. In 1984 Pecco’s entered the cross-country Ski market. Within three years, Pecco's revolutionized cross-country sales and service and became the largest independent retailer for Cross Country Ski equipment in Canada. In 1986, a second Pecco's store opened across the river in Hull, offering sales and services to the expanding Outaouais market. In no time, Pecco's became the preferred retailer for bicycles and cross-country skis in the Ottawa / Hull region.

Today we continue with the tradition of proactive pricing policies, superior service, and a track history matched by no other retailer in the Ottawa / Hull region. We have grown over the past 30 years and will continue forward for many years to come. No other retailer in the region has the inventory, pricing, and service offered by Pecco's.

Pecco's has pushed the technology envelope to bring Wintersteiger stone grinding to our Nordic service department. With over 1000 stone grinds a year, we have become one of the premier locations in North America for Nordic Ski tuning. New for the 2005/2006 ski season, we have introduced a Toko Thermo Bag service (Hot Box) option for all ski preparations. combined with Stonegrinding, you can now expect the best preformance from your new and old skis tuned at Pecco's. Our warehouse stocks more Nordic equipment than any other retailer in North America, with models for children, touring, recreation, sport, and racing.

Cycling products continue to be a major attraction at Pecco's. With everything from Arm Warmers to Water Bottles, you could probably find it here. The introduction of Eclipse Bicycles in 1994 propelled Pecco's to the top of the performance bicycle market with custom assembled models in aluminum and titanium for road, triathlon, mountain, touring and sport. Now each and every Eclipse bicycle is custom assembled for each rider to ensure the best possible fit for comfort, enjoyment, and performance.

The future brings the challenge for Pecco's to become a leader in the Snowshoe, In-line Skate, Hiking and Outdoor Footwear markets. Pecco's is changing the industry standards for Price and Service for each and every domain we enter. Now we are able to offer these services throughout the Ottawa / Hull region. A newly renovated Ottawa store located at 86 Murray St. (just beside our old location) is already setting new standards for merchandising in the bicycle and cross country ski market. Our Hull store located at 79 Rue Laval, minutes from Ottawa and the Gatineau Park has a 19 year track record serving customers of the Ottawa / Hull region.
